The New Technology of Soy and maintaining healthy cholesterol levels will be discussed.

 Kyowa Hakko Kogyo and its subsidiary, Kyowa Hakko U.S.A., will sponsor an Exhibitor Presented Seminar at SupplyExpo/Expo West at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, March 6 at 3:30 p.m. in Room 201C. Current scientific research will be presented about the health benefits of the GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) substance CSPHP soy protein/phospholipid complex system that may help maintain healthy cholesterol levels within the normal range.

 The seminar features Yoichiro Sugimura, Japanfs leading expert on soy peptides, to discuss the new way to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Sugimura will review the molecular structure of soy protein, function of soy protein hydrolysate/enzymatic-modified lecithin complex, protein and lipid binding mechanisms of soy protein and soy phospholipids, and CSPHP clinical, safety and stability studies. The Foshu System, Japanfs rating for dietary supplement ingredients will also be discussed.
